Youth Transition Support Program (YTSP)
Funded by the Department of Social Services and led by the Community Migrant Resources Centre, this program is established to address government priorities for youth settlement by delivering programs in a partnered cohesive model to promote education, employment and positive social engagement and participation. YTSP is delivered in Auburn, Blacktown and Parramatta, by a consortium consisting of the Auburn Diversity Services Inc, Community Migrant Resources Centre and SydWest Multicultural Services to young people aged 15-25 from January 2016.
Partnerships for Employment
YTSP supports eligible clients to transition into continual employment.
Increased Vocational Opportunities
YTSP provides pathways to industry recognised vocational training and work experience, and vocational skills recognition, to help eligible clients achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
Strong Connections to Education
YTSP supports eligible clients to stay engaged with education.
Sports Engagement for Youth
YTSP funds sporting activities to help eligible clients participate in sporting activities to build social connections, overcome isolation and increase participation with other young Australians beyond their own communities.
