Settlement Engagement & Transition Support (SETS)
With 40-year’s experience in the sector, ADSI provides assistance to newly arrived migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background living in the Central Western Sydney areas under different settlement programs funded by the Commonwealth government.
Client Services
Our aim is to support clients in achieving independence and self-reliance to enable them to access mainstream services. We do this through needs-based one-on-one casework, provision of information and guidance on integrating into the community, educating groups on relevant topics and connecting clients to mainstream services for specialised support via referrals. We advocate on behalf of clients to ensure their voices are heard and their needs met.
Our client services focus on outcomes leading to positive changes in the lives of refugees and humanitarian entrants especially around English language acquisition, Employment opportunities and Education and Training (EEET).
Community Capacity Building
Our purpose is to empower emerging or geographically dispersed communities to develop resilience and sustainability. We do this by conducting community consultations to identify unique challenges and opportunities, skills development coaching to enhance individuals’ competencies, strengthening community groups and networks through organisational development, and by training and development.
